There is a program in particular that the Hardy Boyz wish would have been able to come together during their time in WWE.
On the latest edition of the Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, the duo talked about one program they were never able to line up in their time at WWE, working with Bray Wyatt, saying:
Matt: I would’ve liked to do it. Especially as we were getting an opportunity to have input into it. I think Bray Wyatt and I would’ve been more successful if we had more input into it. I would’ve loved to have Broken Matt, Brother Nero and Bray Wyatt all together.
Jeff: I have always loved Bray and everything he’s done and he’s such an enigmatic creature and we’ve never worked together in the ring and I was looking forward to that but surgery got in the way. At that period I think a certain shoulder surgery had gotten in my way. I loved it (matt vs bray), so the trio between us could’ve been huge, but you know, things happen and it just didn’t work out.
The Hardy Boyz have reunited on our screens and have been reflecting on their emotional reunion in AEW and why Jeff would dance on his way to save Matt on his AEW Dynamite debut.
Among the possible future programs teased so far on AEW television, reigniting their previous feud with the Young Bucks or starting a brand new one with another legend of the ring, Sting with his notably extreme partner, Darby Allin.
