The WWE Hall of Fame class of 2022 will be headlined by the Undertaker, with the Deadman set to be inducted by none other than WWE President Vince McMahon.
We also now know that Vader will also be posthumously inducted, but that’s all we know for now.
Speaking on the latest Sunday Night’s Main Event Podcast, Dave Meltzer noted two more names WWE is hoping will agree to be inducted this year.
According to Dave, both Scott and Rick Steiner, or as they were collectively known, the Steiner Brothers, are likely candidates for this year’s Hall of Fame ceremony.
Meltzer said:
“I’ve heard Rick Steiner or The Steiner Brothers, depending on Scott. I think if Scott is not willing, they’ll go with Rick. But they want The Steiner Brothers so that’s a name that’s floating around. Sid is the other name that’s floating around.”
Rick Steiner is of course the father of former NXT Champion Bron Breakker, and could therefore be a more likely candidate.
While Vince McMahon reportedly has no issue with Scott Steiner, Scott has repeatedly said in the past that he has no desire to be in the WWE Hall of Fame.
