Matt and Jeff Hardy, the Hardy Boyz have jokingly addressed a viral video in which Jeff claimed that he was going to AEW.
In an interview with YouTuber Jared Myers, Hardy stated that he was AEW-bound, telling Myers “I’m going to AEW, I’m so excited.” Per Myers, it was intended to be more of a conversation than an interview, however Jeff was allegedly aware the interaction was being filmed.
Jeff has since clarified that his AEW debut isn’t official by any means, tweeting:
“Nothing is official, SocialMedia. It can’t be right now.I’ve simply set a goal for myself & I will achieve it…eventually? The main thing is, Don’t get excited!”
In a new video on Matt’s YouTube channel, the Hardy Boyz discussed the situation. Seemingly poking fun, Matt claimed that a ‘very special, honest, intimate conversation’ had been leaked, before Jeff added ‘Exactly, f**k that guy to the sun’. Matt then noted that this is the attitude they plan to bring to their upcoming match against Griff Garrison & Marcus Kross.

Myers has since claimed that Jeff gave him permission to post the original interview video:
You do relies Jeff was joking. He gave me permission to post it. Your a tool for trying to be a dick head and speak on something you don’t know about.
