While Twitter has been on fire this afternoon with commentary on Tony Khan and his accusation about bots posting anti-AEW sentiments, another WWE star has playfully fired a shot.
NXT 2.0 star Edris Enofe took to Twitter to join in the fun, but rather than cracking jokes via an individual tweet, he simply changed his Twitter name to “E-drone BOT.”
As previously reported, Becky Lynch tweeted a series of amusing Tweets seemingly directed at the accusatory statements by Khan, writing on her Twitter:
“An independent study confirmed that much of the staunch anti – Becky in arena booers aren’t real individuals, it’s a staff running thousands of A.I. – an army of bots! Look closely, these aren’t real people. Who’d pay for such a “wildly” expensive thing?”
Becky went on to borrow a page from her husband Seth Rollins’ playbook by then posting several gifs of seemingly potential suspects to be funding her arena booers, including Trish Stratus, Stephanie McMahon, Nikki Bella, Elon Musk, and of course, Ronda Rousey.
Elsewhere from around the wrestling world, former AEW star Joey Janela tweeted a joke:
“IT’S ME TONY, IT WAS ME ALL ALONG!”
With current AEW star Evil Uno also ribbing on the situation, tweeting:
“An independent study has confirmed that much of the staunch anti-Evil Uno online community aren’t real, it’s a staff running thousands of accounts + an army of bots to signal boost them. Look closely, these aren’t real people.”
