PROGRESS Wrestling has announced that AEW star Swerve Strickland has been pulled from the lineup for the Super Strong Style 16 tournament.
However, the good news is, Strickland has now been announced for PROGRESS Chapter 136 on July 24, and the promotion will be announcing his Super Strong Style replacement later today.
Current AEW star Swerve Strickland won’t be in the tournament, but it was announced last night that former AEW star Jack Evans will be.
The current announced lineup is:
- Malik
- Kid Lykos
- Rickey Shane Page
- Chris Ridgeway
- Aramis
- Robbie X
- Maggot
- Gene Munny
- Charles Crowley
- Jack Evans
- One member of CPF (either Callum Newman, Danny Black, Joe Lando or Maverick Mayhew)
Stay tuned as we’ll let you know who PROGRESS announces as Swerve’s replacement later tonight.
🚨 Sadly, @swerveconfident is unable to join us for Super Strong Style 16
Be ready for that disappointment to be lifted though when we announce his #SSS16 replacement tonight at 8pm…
