The real reason for an AEW talent disappearing from television has been revealed.
KiLynn King was a regular on AEW Dark for two years and had dozens of matches with the promotion. She even established a partnership with Red Velvet along the way.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), KiLynn King confirmed that she is done with All Elite Wrestling for the time being.
When a contract didn’t come from the company, King let them know that she was appreciative, but wanted to explore different paths and try different things to make an impression in wrestling.
AEW wrestler and coach Billy Gunn told her that the door remains open for King’s return.
The company seemed to really like her as well. KiLynn originally came in as an enhancement talent and then started to pick up some wins, including over TNA veteran Lei’D Tapa.
King went on to represent AEW at the NWA Empowerrr event with Red Velvet in the NWA Women’s Tag Team Titles Tournament.
