WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley announced back in February that he had undergone spinal surgery.
Dudley had been a producer for the WWE main roster since 2016, but hadn’t been around since October due to his health issues. In that time, D-Von announced that he was set to become a trainer for the NXT roster.
D-Von was set to begin the NXT trainer role back on June 15, but he was unable to due to the surgery. However, he announced on Twitter that he actually has returned to work, as of this past Tuesday night.
He said:
This pass Tuesday night was the first time back at work since my back surgery that took me out last October. Feeling great and Glad to be back, but even more glad to be back in my new role in NXT. Love working with the new talent now. I thank God for this opportunity.
D-Von was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame alongside Bubba Ray Dudley as the Dudley Boyz back in 2018.
