Many fans have praised the addition of Pat McAfee to the WWE announce team over the past year, with many complimenting the duo of him and Michael Cole on SmackDown on FOX.
Most recently, a video of Cole and McAfee reacting to Liv Morgan’s Money In The Bank cash-in at last weekend’s Money in the Bank show was shared, with many enjoying the passion that the pair showed.
For those of you worrying about McAfee’s future in the company, you can worry no more, as Andrew Marchand of the New York Post is reporting that McAfee has agreed to a contract extension with WWE.
WWE has since posted a statement on McAfee’s extension, noting that it is a multi-year deal.
Alongside commentating on SmackDown, McAfee occassionally steps into the ring for WWE, with him set to take on Happy Corbin at the upcoming SummerSlam premium live event.
McAfee is currently sitting at a 50% win rate in the company for 2022 so far. For a full list of win/loss records in WWE for 2022 so far, click here.
