A scintillating match has now been announced by NJPW for Music City Mayhem event in Nashville, Tennessee at the end of July.
NJPW has now announced that appearing in a no disqualification match, AEW Interim World Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley will take on El Desperado.
NJPW Music City Mayhem is set to occur on July 30 in Nashville, corresponding not only with many from the wrestling world in town for WWE’s SummerSlam but also of course, Ric Flair’s Last Match also being put on for Starrcast V.
Moxley has been on a hot streak as of late, not only emerging victorious from AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door with the AEW Interim World Heavyweight Championship but also then competing alongside Blackpool Combat Club squad Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta as well as Eddie Kingston, Santana and Ortiz to best the Jericho Appreciation Society at AEW Dynamite Blood & Guts.
Mox’s current win/loss record for 2022 is an impressive 23-1-0; you can review all of the win/loss records for the AEW men’s roster by clicking here.
