A popular Joshi wrestler is reportedly set to take bookings in the United States later this year.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), former Stardom star Jungle Kyona is reportedly set to take bookings in the United States soon, with the intent being for her to tour multiple promotions.
Former ROH Women’s World Champion Sumie Sakai is reportedly the one who is helping Kyona secure her bookings.
Kyona has only wrestled one match since she was sidelined in the fall of 2020 with a plethora of injuries, that being at the second annual Hana Kimura Memorial Show this past May.
Kyona left Stardom back in September 2021 after six years with the company.
AEW star Thunder Rosa recently made a stop in Japan, where she was defeated by TJPW star Miyu Yamashita, earning Yamashita a future shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship when she returns to the States.
