A competitive rematch for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship on tonight’s July 11th edition of WWE Raw between Bianca Belair and Carmella.
With her husband Corey Graves as adoring as ever on commentary, being sure to note that Carmella was “a badass with a great ass,” Mella was competitive in the match however Belair fought back.
When Carmella hooked her feet on the top ropes so Belair couldn’t hit her finisher the K.O.D. it almost looked as though Mella had the win but Bianca was able to kick out.
After attempting to escape by leaving the ring, Carmella scratched the eyes of Belair who was subsequently also was distracted by Becky Lynch as the referee continued the count out, spelling the loss for Belair.
After the match, Mella celebrated holding the belt despite not actually winning it but Bianca wasn’t trying to hear her chirping, laying her out with a giant punch and K.O.D.
Becky Lynch was at ringside after a pre-match interruption saw her hop on top of the recently reconstructed commentary desk to demand a WWE Raw Women’s Championship Rematch At SummerSlam ahead of Bianca Belair and Carmella’s championship match.
Elsewhere on the show, the return of Brock Lesnar with a few interruptions and Judgment Day continued to recruit a generational talent before Balor’s match against a WWE legend.
