Swerve Strickland has won more tag team gold on the independent scene with a fellow AEW star.
On the July 13 Fyter Fest Week One edition of AEW Dynamite, Strickland and Keith Lee defeated The Young Bucks and Team Taz’s Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs to win the AEW World Tag Team Titles.
Swerve added more championship gold to his collection, teaming with AEW star Christopher Daniels to defeat The Bollywood Boyz to win the DEFY Tag Team Championships at DEFY Wrestling’s “The World Is Yours” Night Two.
Swerve Strickland isn’t the only person in the duo to hold another championship belt as Daniels is currently the reigning DEFY World Champion.
The DEFY World Champion wrote the following caption on social media:
Gained 10 pounds tonight.
My friend here can sympathize, this is the second 10 pounds he’s gained in a week.

Christopher Daniels was featured on last Friday’s Fyter Fest Night Two edition of AEW Rampage and called out Jay Lethal about his ongoing feud with Samoa Joe.
Swerve is a former two-time DEFY World Champion himself.
