Bayley has reacted to Cora Jade trashing her NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship on the July 19 edition of NXT.
On Tuesday’s show, Jade addressed her actions from last week, when she attacked her tag partner, Roxanne Perez.
To make a statement, Jade threw her title belt into the trash.
Bayley took to Twitter to tease a confrontation, noting:
Guess I have more work to do
Bayley is a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, holding the gold on two separate occasions with Sasha Banks.
Ahead of Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez’ implosion, Bayley was a big fan of the team, and would often praise the duo online.
Bayley hasn’t wrestled since suffering an ACL injury ahead of WWE’s return to touring last year. She last wrestled on the June 25, 2021 edition of SmackDown, teaming with Seth Rollins to face Cesaro (Claudio Castagnoli) & Bianca Belair.
Bayley is reportedly preparing for her return to action, and is scheduled to be in Nashville during SummerSlam weekend.
