Former Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon is still listed on the WWE.com talent roster (as ‘Mr McMahon’) as of writing (August 15).
McMahon announced his retirement and WWE departure on July 22. Shortly after, Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan were named the new co-CEOs, and Triple H took over WWE creative.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider has speculated that McMahon still being listed as a current talent is simply an oversight, and expects McMahon to be moved to the alumni section of the online roster soon.
It was previously reported that McMahon has been removed from the official internal talent roster.
McMahon has reportedly had no involvement with WWE in any official capacity besides owning the majority of the company’s stock, and has not been back to WWE Headquarters since his retirement announcement.
