Former AEW star Jack Evans has stated that he’d be interested in returning to AEW if the opportunity arose.
Speaking with PWMania, Evans noted that he doesn’t know if he’ll ever be back there, as spots on the roster as so sought-after.
Reflecting on his run with the company, Evans said:
“Honestly, one of the things that has motivated me recently was my AEW stint. I didn’t do as well there as I could’ve, but nonetheless, I was grateful for the experience. I don’t know how likely it is that I’ll be back there, even though I would love to. It’s a very sought-after promotion that everyone’s trying to go to.”
Evans was considered an AEW original, signing with the company in May 2019 and competing during the promotion’s inaugural pay-per-view event, Double or Nothing 2019.
He finished up with AEW in April after the promotion chose not to renew his contract.
His last AEW match was against Dante Martin during the February 5 Dark taping. He has since wrestled for a number of different promotions including PROGRESS, GCW and IMPACT Wrestling.
