This week’s NXT Heatwave special episode of NXT 2.0 caused a lot of speculation about the future of NXT UK, with several of the brand’s top stars appearing on the show following reports of uneasiness around the brand.
The final event involving NXT UK talent will take place on September 4, with Worlds Collide, which will put the best of NXT 2.0 against the best of NXT UK.
September 4, for those keeping track, is the day after WWE’s Clash at the Castle event in Cardiff, and also the same day as AEW’s All Out pay-per-view in Chicago.
However, the two events are not set to overlap, as WWE has officially confirmed that Worlds Collide will begin at 4pm EST.
"NXT Europe will reimagine the brand [NXT UK] and its talent pipeline with a Pan European focus" in 2023.
There will be a live "Worlds Collide" PLE with NXT and NXT UK wrestlers live Sunday, Sep 4 at 4pm ET on Peacock and the WWE Network.
