MJF Spotted With WWE Name, Already Stoking 2024 Rumors

MJF Spotted With WWE Name, Already Stoking 2024 Rumors twitter.com/the_mjf

The bidding war of 2024 seems to have begun and MJF is not being shy about his affinity for WWE, including who he calls one of the best in the world.

While MJF was an affable babyface in his return promo to AEW Dynamite, it lasted less than five minutes before the veil slipped and he returned to his previous, dastardly ways.

Amidst the promo were copious references to WWE (including the American Nightmare, Nick Khan and even The Game himself, Triple H) and now MJF has been spotted in the wild with a WWE name.

Posting to Twitter, MJF shared a snap of himself and sports and pop culture voice as well as frequent WWE contributor, Peter Rosenberg.

Writing along with the pic:

“Me with one of the best wrestling broadcast journalists in the world
@Rosenbergradio #2024”

MJF posted the pic a short time after Rosenberg sent out his own tweet, on Tony Khan’s handling of the AEW All Out media scrum nightmare.

However even more fascinating, MJF is already stoking the fires of his movement for “the bidding war of 2024” as he called it during his return promo on AEW Dynamite.

Paving the way for an incredibly compelling blend of rumor and reality, the concept of MJF frequently teasing a bidding war over him between AEW and WWE set for 2024 when his AEW contract reportedly expires makes for a great long term story.

His absence was explained upon his return at AEW All Out as “prolonged and unexcused,” while Tony Khan revealed (in storyline) that he would pay MJF an undisclosed amount of money without having to sign a contract extension if he returned for the AEW All Out Casino Ladder match.

It is not known at this time whether or not MJF actually signed a contract extension with AEW.

MJF is currently 2-4-0 in 2022 in AEW.
