Bobby Fish has discussed why reDRagon vs. The Young Bucks didn’t happen in All Elite Wrestling.
Last week, it was revealed that Bobby Fish was officially done with AEW after negotiations for a contract renewal fell through.
With his departure less than a year since his arrival in AEW, there are many compelling matches that were left on the table for Fish as well as reDRagon tag team partner Kyle O’Reilly.
In a new interview with Steve Fall of NBC Sports Boston, the former WWE and AEW star was asked why reDRagon vs. The Young Bucks never happened in the company.
Fish answered:
“I think the ball was dropped. You know, obviously, I’m biased in a certain direction. But like, I think you got to know what you have and you got to understand the value of your talent and what you have. To say that the process was mismanaged would be a monumental understatement, we were a proven commodity as a group, proven commodities as individuals, and yeah, I mean, don’t screw it up, stupid.”
As previously mentoned, Bobby Fish also called out a controversial top AEW star in the same interview.
