Another recently released WWE star made his AEW debut at tonight’s AEW Dark: Elevation tapings in Albany, New York prior to AEW Dynamite.
At the tapings, Mascara Dorada made his AEW debut, when he took on Serpentico in singles action, picking up the victory in his AEW debut.
Dorada wrestled as Gran Metalik in WWE, where he reached the final of the Cruiserweight Classic tournament in 2016, losing to TJ Perkins, before being a part of the relaunched Cruiserweight Division.
Metalik stepped out of the Cruiserweight Division in 2018 alongside Kalisto and Lince Dorado, forming the Lucha House Party, the faction he remained a part of up until his WWE release back on November 4, 2021.
Since his release, Dorada has wrestled for several promotions, including GCW, NJPW Strong and IMPACT Wrestling.
