MJF made his return to AEW television at the end of the All Out pay-per-view, where he won the Casino Ladder match, disguised under a mask, before unmasking at the show’s climax.
After the event, the AEW World Championship was vacated following the fall out of the All Out media scrum, with Tony Khan announcing an AEW World Championship Tournament of Champions, culminating in the main event of the AEW Grand Slam special episode of Dynamite in Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson punched their ticket to the tournament final on this week’s Dynamite show, defeating Sammy Guevara and Chris Jericho respectively, before they had a staredown to end the show.
Despite Moxley and Danielson competing in the final, fans have speculated about MJF potentially inserting himself into the match, and being the one to leave AEW Grand Slam as the World Champion.
MJF took to Twitter today to keep people talking, simply sharing a photo of the Moxley and Danielson face off on Dynamite, leaving us wondering just what he is cooking.
