Amid the recent backstage issues in AEW, several AEW stars have spoken about their unhappiness in the company, with some reportedly asking for their release.
It was reported recently that Tony Khan would not be granting any requests for releases, following reports of Buddy Matthews and Malakai Black requesting their release.
Another AEW star who was rumoured to be unhappy was Miro, which was since revealed to be false. While Miro did not request his release, he seemingly took shots at how little he has been used recently.
Miro last competed for AEW at All Out in a Trios match alongside Sting and Darby Allin against the House of Black. Before that, Miro last wrestled at Forbidden Door in the All-Atlantic Championship four-way.
When a fan pointed out to Miro that he has not competed on Dynamite in three months, he responded:
Nobody has the balls
AEW also put up a ‘this day in history post’, reflecting on Sammy Guevara’s TNT Championship victory over Miro on September 29, 2021. Miro responded to the post, saying:
You don’t even have the balls to @ me.
