Plans for Charlotte Flair’s WWE return following a lengthy hiatus have potentially been revealed.
Flair last wrestled at WWE WrestleMania Backlash in May, losing her SmackDown Women’s Championship to Ronda Rousey in an ‘I Quit’ match.
Shortly after this bout, Flair and AEW star Andrade El Idolo had their wedding and honeymoon. WWE has actually had a major change in management since Flair last laced up her boots, with Vince McMahon retiring, Stephanie McMahon & Nick Khan becoming co-CEOs and Triple H taking over creative as the Chief Content Officer.
On this weekend’s edition of WWE’s Most Extreme Moments Countdown on FOX, Charlotte Flair was interviewed by Kayla Braxton.
When asked about her next move, Flair indicated that she’s paying close attention to Bianca Belair and the Raw Women’s Championship, hinting that she’ll go after the Raw Women’s Title upon her return.
Belair is set to defend her gold against Bayley in a ladder match at Extreme Rules on October 8. The SmackDown Women’s Title will also be on the line at the event, with Ronda Rousey slated to challenge for Liv Morgan’s gold in an Extreme Rules bout.
