Spoilers have emerged from Wednesday’s (October 5) AEW Dark Elevation tapings, including the return of a suspended AEW star.
According to F4WOnline, Brandon Cutler returned to the ring for the first time since July 20, after being suspended from the company for his involvement in a backstage altercation following AEW’s All Out pay-per-view on September 4.
The incident also involved Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, CM Punk, and Ace Steel, who have since remained suspended from AEW.
Other names that were suspended but have since had their suspensions lifted include Christopher Daniels, Michael Nakazawa and Pat Buck.
Cutler defeated Serpentico (who was accompanied by Luther) in the match-up.
Other AEW Dark Elevation results were as follows:
- Emi Sakura defeated Trish Adora
- Tony Nese and Josh Woods (with Smart Mark Sterling) defeated Action Andretti and Myles Hawkins
- Nyla Rose defeated Jordan Blade
- ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions Dalton Castle & The Boys defeated Lorgan Laroux, Goldy, and Brett Water
AEW Rampage will be taped back-to-back with AEW Battle of the Belts IV this coming Friday (October 7).
