Chaos was omnipresent on the October 14 episode of WWE SmackDown, and that started before the show was even on the air, when Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross brawled in the parking lot after Karrion Kross was involved in a car crash.
Kross, who was originally slated to be in a four-way Intercontinental Championship number one contender’s match on the show, was deemed not fit to compete.
Kross was instead replaced by Rey Mysterio, who was announced to have moved permanently over to the blue brand earlier in the night, in the match against Ricochet, Solo Sikoa and Sheamus.
Rey ended up victorious in the match, pinning Ricochet after Sheamus and Solo Sikoa brawled to the back alongside their respective stablemates in the Bloodline and Brawling Brutes.
Sheamus took to Twitter after the show, making it clear that things aren’t over between the groups, and he has his eyes set on taking down the entire Bloodline, which starts with Solo.
He tweeted:
The end of the Bloodline starts with Solo. Ireland V Islanders. #CelticVengeance
Sheamus challenged Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship on last week’s season premiere episode of the show, losing the match in controversial fashion following a fake tap out from the champion.
