The AEW in-ring return of Japanese wrestling standout Konosuke Takeshita has now been announced.
Takeshita will be in action on the November 18 edition of Rampage.
The popular star will team with Jun Akiyama, who will be making his AEW debut.
The two DDT-Pro stars will face off against Eddie Kingston and Ortiz on the upcoming show.
Takeshita gained popularity in AEW during his international excursion earlier this year.
The star impressed many with his competitive matches against the likes of Eddie Kingston, Hangman Page, Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli.
Takeshita last wrestled for AEW in the US during the August 10 Dark: Elevation taping. His match against Cezar Bononi aired on the August 15 episode.
The DDT-Pro star notably wrestled for AEW in September at the Tokyo Game Show 2022 event, competing against Chris Brookes and Christopher Daniels.
The November 18 episode of Rampage will take place on ‘Full Gear Friday’, one day out from the anticipated Full Gear pay-per-view.
