WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash is set to star in the upcoming film ‘Fight Another Day’, which is currently in production.
Per Deadline, Nash, has joined a cast including Martin Kove from the original Karate Kid movies, and Eric Johnson who starred in the Vikings TV series.
The report noted that Ken Shamrock, Chuck Liddell and several other ‘cult UFC fighters’ will also be featured in the film.
Kemodo Entertainment and High Star Entertainment have announced the beginning of shoot for Fight Another Day in Toronto, Canada.
According to Deadline, the film will follow:
“A tough cop who is transported to a dystopian future, where he is forced to enter a deadly combat tournament in order to return to his past.”
Nash has made several TV and movie appearances, notably featured in John Wick, The Punisher, and most recently the comedy drama ‘Dog’, which released in February.
A number of wrestlers are currently making names for themselves in Hollywood, from MJF set to star in the upcoming Von Erich ‘The Iron Claw’ movie, to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson introducing Black Adam to the DC Extended Universe.
