Did a match announced for the January 13 IMPACT Hard to Kill pay-per-view just rule out one rumored WWE return?
While rumors continue to swirl about who else may be returning to a Triple H led regime in WWE, one name has been thrown around throughout.
It seems however now that Matt Cardona may be unavailable until at least after January 13 where he’ll celebrate Friday the 13th by having a match at IMPACT’s pay-per-view, Hard to Kill.
Announced on tonight’s edition (December 22) of IMPACT Wrestling, several big matches for the upcoming pay-per-view.
After last Thursday’s edition (December 15) saw the Motor City Machine Guns win the Impact Tag Team titles, their first defense for this reign was revealed.
Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) won’t simply be facing one team for the titles.
Instead they will defend against Heath & Rhino, The Major Players (Matt Cardona and Brian Myers) and Chris Bey and Ace Austin in a four way elimination match.
The appearance is notable in that the rumored to be returning to WWE Cardona is unlikely to pop up in WWE then go back to Impact so perhaps we’ll have to wait a bit longer to see if the Broski is really headed ‘home’.
In other news, there continues to be copious buzz about the potential return of another Cardona to WWE, wife Chelsea Green which you can read more about here.
