AEW Wrestler Provides Injury Update AEW

An AEW star has provided an update on their recovery from surgery and even provided a suitable headline for writers.

Kris Statlander confirmed, on August 13, that she had suffered a “completely torn ACL and maternal meniscus” which would require surgery.

She would undergo surgery for the injury in September, proving an update on Twitter.

Speaking on the August 16 2022 episode of Road to Dynamite, Statlander stated that her recovery would mean that she’d be out of action for six to eight months.

She has since provided an update on her recovery, explaining on Twitter that:

She would follow this up with a suggested headline for wrestling writers:

This response garnered support from fellow AEW roster member Brian Pillman Jr:

Statlander had previously shared her thoughts on her wrestling career and promised that she’s “barely even scratched the surface.”

She stated that she would “have the best years” of her career upon her return.
