A popular AEW star has credited their “punching” ability as the reason for their success.
On the October 12 edition of AEW Dynamite, Orange Cassidy defeated PAC to win the All Atlantic Championship.
Since then, Cassidy has successfully defended the title against the likes of Katsuyori Shibata, Trent Seven and Lee Johnson.
Speaking to Bill Apter of Sportskeeda’s Wrestlebinge, Orange Cassidy explained what makes him a great champion.
Speaking about the current AEW World Champion MJF, Apter called him “one of the most sarcastic self-centered persons I have ever met”. Orange responded with “Agreed.”
When asked what MJF brings to the AEW World Title, OC replied, “Sarcasm!”
After Apter pointed out that Cassidy has more wrestling talent than sarcasm, the AEW All Atlantic champion replied:
“I’m just good at punching, that’s why I have this one [AEW All-Atlantic Championship]. You thought I had more of a skillset? I don’t. I just punch.”
Orange Cassidy will defend the AEW All Atlantic Championship against his Best Friends teammate Trent Beretta on the December 30 edition of Rampage.
