Whether you’re a fan of WWE, AEW or both, if you were watching wrestling on Monday night, you likely saw independent wrestler Manny Lemons.
Lemons made an appearance at the beginning of the January 2 edition of Raw, as one of the security guards who was tasked with escorting the Bloodline out of the ring.
The star was also featured on that night’s edition of AEW Dark: Elevation, teaming with Atiba in a losing effort against Isiah Kassidy & Matt Hardy.
This bout was notably filmed last week, during the December 28 taping, which is why Lemons was able to appear on both shows.
Per the Local Competitor Twitter account Lemons is the sixth wrestler to appear for WWE and AEW on the same night.
Kelsey Heather was the first performer to do so, appearing on Raw and wrestling on Dark: Elevation on July 12, 2021.
Following this, Cameron Stewart wrestled on the September 21, 2021 editions of WWE NXT and AEW Dark, becoming the first name to compete in both promotions on the same night.
Kayla Sparks appeared on SmackDown and wrestled on Rampage on February 25, 2022. April 11 saw Ashley D’Ambrose show up on Raw and Dark: Elevation.
Prior to Lemons, the most recent instance of WWE-AEW double duty saw Katie Arquette wrestle on both Raw and Dark: Elevation on August 29.
