AEW CEO Tony Khan has announced a new big matchup for AEW Rampage live on Friday, January 6 in Portland, Oregon.
Hot on the heels of an impressive debut in the new market of Seattle, AEW next hits Portland, Oregon for AEW Rampage and Battle of the Belts.
Now Tony Khan has announced a major tag team effort for AEW’s Portland debut, writing on Twitter:
“The BCC are still pissed that Top Flight cost them a $300,000 pot at the #HolidayBash, which is why TOMORROW on@TNTdrama 10pm ET/9pm CT, you’ll see @JonMoxley + @bryandanielson go to war vs. @TopFlight612 LIVE on Friday Night #AEWRampage back-to-back with #BattleOfTheBelts LIVE!”
Elsewhere already announced for AEW Rampage include the AEW Women’s World champ in tag team action.
Jamie Hayter tag teaming with former champ and pal Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. to take on Robyn and Charlette, the Renegade Twins.
Also, fans will see Perro Peligroso in action (formerly known as Preston Vance) and hear from House of Black.
Announced for Battle of the Belts include a All-Atlantic Championship bout, tag team title rematch and a TBS Championship match.
