A WWE star has reacted to Adam Cole’s AEW return.
On the January 11 edition of AEW Dynamite, Adam Cole made his return to All Elite Wrestling for the first time since last August.
After a passionate promo, Cole informed the fans that he is officially back after dealing with shoulder and head injuries for the past six months.
The wrestling world was quick to react to this good news, including a WWE star who is very close to Cole.
Referencing Cole’s UpUpDownDown persona, NXT Tag Team Champion Xavier Woods of The New Day tweeted:
Adam Cole and Xavier Woods are known as “Da Party” along with Tyler Breeze and AEW’s Claudio Castagnoli on the UpUpDownDown YouTube channel.
It wasn’t just WWE stars who were excited to see Cole’s return either. A top NJPW star was also quick to respond to the comeback.
Following Cole’s return, former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jay White tweeted:
“My good friend! #BayBay”
Cole was responsible for initially bringing “Switchblade” Jay White to All Elite Wrestling in February 2022. White is the current leader of the Bullet Club, while Cole is a former member in the group.
As previously reported, Jay White is set to leave New Japan Pro Wrestling after his contract expires soon.
