Here’s a wild one: you might not be able to guess what tag team won tonight’s Casino Tag Team Battle Royale to join the title bout at AEW Revolution!
After it was revealed earlier in the show that there would be a vacancy in the match because The Best Friends were not medically cleared to compete, it was a little murky if their pals Danhausen and Orange Cassidy would really be replacing them.
After Orange Cassidy already took on formidable foe Big Bill in the opening bout of the show, taking three Orange Punches to get the job done, it seemed unlikely they would pull out a victory in the Battle Royale.
However the duo did emerge victoriously, sending the unlikely duo straight to AEW Revolution and a big title shot.
Joining Champions the Gunns in taking on Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal as well as the Acclaimed in a massive fatal four way match, Danhausen and Orange Cassidy will round out the field on Sunday.
Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, a set of AEW titles were stolen, there were a number of wild spots in the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match that have to be seen to be believed and you can click this link to find out who won the big match.
