Tony Khan has revealed how many people are currently subscribed to the Ring of Honor (ROH) subscription service HonorClub.
AEW Revolution took place last night, but last Thursday was also a big day for Khan as it was the relaunch of a weekly ROH show.
The show airs exclusively on HonorClub since it wasn’t picked up by any TV networks, and Khan wanted to keep it within Warner Bros Discovery if it was going to be on TV.
That means the only people that can watch it (other than people attending tapings live) are those that sign up to HonorClub for $9.99 per month.
During the post-Revolution press conference last night, Khan stated that HonorClub currently has 12,000 subscribers, which he said he believed was “as good” a number as the service has ever had.
It’s not only the new shows that are going to be available on HonorClub, but there’s also an archive of shows from the past as well.
On last week’s relaunch show, Claudio Castagnoli retained the ROH World Title over AR Fox, before he was confronted by Eddie Kingston who looks likely to be his challenger at ROH Supercard of Honor on March 31.
Kingston was written off AEW TV the night prior by saying he quit AEW, so it seems he’ll be used exclusively in ROH for the time being.
