Samoa Joe’s TV Title Challenger For ROH Supercard Of Honor Revealed AEW

Samoa Joe’s challenger for the ROH World Television Championship at Supercard of Honor has been revealed.

On the March 9 edition of ROH TV, Samoa Joe defeated Tony Deppen to retain the ROH TV Title. Post match, Joe called out anyone from the Ring of Honor locker room to step up to challenge him. The competitor who answered the challenge was none other than Mark Briscoe.

On tonight’s episode of Ring of Honor TV on Honor Club, it was announced that Samoa Joe will defend the ROH World Television Championship against Mark Briscoe at ROH Supercard of Honor in Los Angeles on March 31.

The announcement came with a video package documenting the history between Joe and The Briscoe Brothers.

The video noted that Samoa Joe’s record-breaking ROH World Title reign was built on the back of The Briscoes with his earliest defenses coming against Jay and Mark.

Despite Jay pulling out a win against Joe in 2015, Mark has never defeated the ROH TV Champion, which makes this title showdown very intriguing.

We will have further updates and news from tonight’s ROH TV when they become available.
