Jim Cornette Believes ‘Nobody Gets Over’ Feuding With Top AEW Star WWE

Chris Jericho has been one of the focal points of All Elite Wrestling since the company’s inception in 2019, being the first-ever AEW World Champion.

Jericho has feuded with a lot of the top stars in AEW, and is currently in a war with Adam Cole, seemingly set for a match at Double or Nothing later this month.

The angle escalated recently with a segment on Dynamite, which saw Adam Cole handcuffed to the ropes as the Outcasts beat up his girlfriend Britt Baker.

Jim Cornette criticised the segment on a recent episode of his Jim Cornette Experience podcast, saying that the company made Adam Cole look like a ‘simpleton’, and that ‘nobody gets over’ feuding with Chris Jericho.

He said:

“Adam Cole, with the good will he had from the people about the legitimate concussion problem and he was out for so long, remember the first couple of times he brought the house down.

“They have made him look like a small, tiny simpleton and done nothing interesting, and the Jericho group is the kiss of death because it’s always the same thing. They will do a WWE, sports entertainment style angle where they just beat somebody up unmercifully with no one trying to help, and it’s the same thing every time. Then, who gets over against Jericho? Nobody.”
