Sami Zayn has now reacted to everything that transpired in the main event of WWE Night of Champions 2023.
In the final match of the May 27 premium live event, Zayn and Kevin Owens defended their WWE Tag Team Championship against Solo Sikoa and WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
In the closing moments of the bout, The Usos interfered and accidentally double-superkicked Solo Sikoa, leading to Roman Reigns confronting the duo, and Jimmy Uso attacking the Tribal Chief.
Owens and Zayn capitalised on the dissension, dropping Solo Sikoa with a stunner/Helluva kick combo to retain their gold.
Ahead of WrestleMania 39, Owens and Zayn finally joined forces on their missions to destroy the Bloodline.
While both stars were unable to defeat Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Universal Title, Zayn has celebrated the duo’s Night of Champions victory on social media.
Zayn shared a photo of him taunting Reigns with the tag title belts, captioning the photo:
Lost the battle, won the war.
Several Anoa’i family members have now commented on Jimmy Uso’s betrayal. Rikishi, the father of The Usos and Solo Sikoa, and the cousin of Roman Reigns, made an interesting tease, which you can read more about right here.
Jey Uso has also broken his silence on the matter, which you can read about at this link.
