On tonight’s WWE Raw, Sami Zayn weighed in on the Bloodline’s implosion from Friday Night SmackDown before a big match.
In a backstage segment, Sami Zayn was asked to comment about the Bloodline’s apparent implosion from Friday’s episode of SmackDown.
With Zayn expressing that it was nice to see the Usos do what should have been done a long time ago, he added the qualifier that he was proud of Jimmy Uso.
By the end of the interaction, Imperium with GUNTHER would interrupt Zayn and Owens, leading to a big challenge from KO.
Marching to the ring, Kevin Owens demanded a match with GUNTHER straight away and after the commercial break, they had what can only be described as a banger.
With several stunning near falls, Owens “scratched and clawed” his way back into the fight as Corey Graves on commentary put it.
When GUNTHER attempted to deliver a mighty splash off the top rope, instead Owens got his knees up just in time and then went to the top himself for a big Swanton Bomb.
However when Giovanni Vinci tried to interfere and Sami Zayn stopped him, Owens got distracted by giving a Stunner to Ludwig Kaiser, giving GUNTHER the opening to get the roll up victory over Kevin Owens.
