At the recent ROH TV tapings, a Ring of Honor star suffered a bloody injury that required medical attention, as seen on their social media.
Tapings for Ring of Honor TV took place at Universal Studios in Florida on June 4 and featured a big authority figure announcement and championship matches.
Spoilers for the tapings can be found here for those who want to get ahead of the ROH action.
On the show, The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) defeated El Dragon & El Cobarde.
F4W Online noted that, during the match, Bennett “ended up bleeding.”
Bennett has recently shared a photo to his social media showing that he was injured and required eleven staples to close the wound to the top of his head.
The photo of the gruesome injury can be seen below this news story.
Fellow ROH star Cheeseburger would note that Bennett in “tough as nails” in a reply to the photo.
During the ROH TV tapings, Tony Khan announced Stokely Hathaway and Jerry Lynn as members of the ROH Board of Directors.
As noted in the report, the Board of Directors is just a storyline and Tony Khan still very much runs ROH in reality.
Stokely has been pushing for a new role that looks like it will be taking shape after this announcement.
Jerry Lynn is a former ROH World Champion after making his way to the company in 2008.
It was also reported that Lynn will serve as a babyface authority figure alongside a heel Hathaway.
