An update has emerged on ticket sales for WWE SummerSlam 2023, one month out from the Biggest Party of the Summer.
With the July 1 Money in the Bank premium live event now in the books, rivalries for SummerSlam will now be built on WWE TV.
The highly anticipated show will emanate from the Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan on August 5.
Per WrestleTix, over 40,000 fans are currently expected for the show, with 41,717 tickets distributed as of 6:22 pm on Tuesday night (July 4).
With the arena currently set up to hold 45,707 fans for the event, this means that there are 3990 tickets available for the show.
WrestleTix also revealed that of the tickets distributed, 2,259 are up for resale.
While no matches have officially been announced for SummerSlam 2023, it appears that several rivalries are set to culminate in Detroit.
On the July 3 edition of Raw, Brock Lesnar made his return to brawl with Cody Rhodes, following the duo’s previous two matches at Backlash and Night of Champions.
Logan Paul’s SummerSlam match was also potentially revealed on this show, with a segment involving Paul and Ricochet announced for next week’s edition of Raw.
While title matches for the August 5 premium live event haven’t yet been determined, both Damian Priest and IYO SKY are able to challenge for whatever title they choose at any WWE show when they cash in their Money in the Bank briefcases.
Both stars won their contracts in ladder matches at Money in the Bank 2023.
The July 1 premium live event set a huge WWE record which you can read more about at this link.
