A top WWE star has reacted to former colleague Trinity capturing the IMPACT Knockouts Championship at the Slammiversary PPV on July 15.
Trinity received validation for her decision to walk out of WWE in May 2022 as she captured IMPACT’s top female prize, defeating three-time champion Deonna Purrazzo via her Starstruck submission.
In reaction to the monumental victory, Trinity’s friend Bayley took to Twitter to celebrate, quoting a memorable part of Trinity’s WWE theme, saying:
Bring it to da floor
Natalya would also reply to Bayley’s tweet with a message of support for Trinity, posting three green love heart emoji’s.
Trinity recently named Bayley and Tamina as the two members of the WWE locker room that stayed in touch with both her and Mercedes Mone upon their WWE exit.
As well as the support online, Mone, who’s still on the sidelines following her ankle injury at NJPW STRONG Resurgence on May 21, was also in attendance for Trinity’s crowning moment at Slammiversary.
While Mone isn’t quite ready for an in-ring return, it seems as if we now have an idea of what the former IWGP Women’s Champion may be doing once she is back and unsurprisingly it may also involve championship gold, click here to find out more on Mone’s return plans.
Bring it to da floor 💚
