A top star has issued a challenge to NJPW and STARDOM to “send their best.”
On Sunday, August 20, New Japan Pro Wrestling and IMPACT Wrestling will hold their second co-promotional event titled, “Multiverse United 2: For Whom The Bell Tolls.”
Following the success of their first co-branded event during WrestleMania 39 weekend in Los Angeles, many fans are looking forward to what key matches will be set up for the show.
With the New Japan roster featuring primarily male talent, the question has been how the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts division would be used on the co-promotional card.
On August 1, IMPACT Wrestling posted a video of Deonna Purrazzo issuing a challenge to NJPW and STARDOM to send their best to face her at Multiverse United 2.
Purrazzo was successful at the first show, winning a number one contenders four-way match to earn a shot at the IMPACT Knockouts World Championship at Rebellion.
Following Multiverse United 2, Deonna Purrazzo will challenge Trinity for the title at IMPACT Emergence on August 27.
