You have to see this video of MJF putting his own spin on a legendary promo on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite (September 13).
MJF has never hidden the fact that he is a professional wrestling superfan but tonight he got a rare opportunity to do something on live TV many fans have done in their own homes.
MJF cut an incredibly familiar promo during a backstage interview segment with Renee Paquette, with Adam Cole by his side.
Recreating the legendary 2008 IMPACT promo directed towards Samoa Joe from Rick Steiner, commonly referred to as ‘Steiner Math’, the AEW World Champion brought forth an entirely new iteration to the zeitgeist.
You can watch the video below of “MJF Math” but be assured, he did an excellent job of making a moment despite not being present live at Dynamite.
With the other news of the segment being that MJF was not going to be cleared to travel after his run-in with Samoa Joe last week, he wouldn’t be back in action until Grand Slam.
MJF was pleased with the week off but went on to reveal his epic oratory exhibition on who he considered the two likely finalists, Roderick Strong and Samoa Joe.
For his part, MJF suggested Roddy “shake it off you bland b****h,” so either way, he’s ready to take on whoever is coming for the Triple B in his home state of New York next week on Dynamite Grand Slam.
