ROH Women’s Champion and AEW star Athena has commented after facing off against Ronda Rousey and Marina Shafir at an independent wrestling event.
Ronda Rousey and Marina Shafir were in action during Thursday’s (November 16) Wrestling Revolver Unreal event against Billie Starkz and Athena.
The match ended in a no contest after Athena attacked Rousey with her ROH Women’s Title belt.
Athena has now taken to Twitter to comment on this moment, noting that she’d do it again.
Sharing a video of herself attacking Rousey, Athena wrote:
And I’d do it again!!!!

While there’s no confirmation of whether it’s planned, some fans have speculated that Rousey could soon debut for AEW or ROH to build to a match against Athena.
Rousey’s friend and tag partner Marina Shafir confirmed that Shafir had officially signed with AEW in late-2022.
Following her WWE exit in October, Rousey has made several independent wrestling appearances.
Athena has held the ROH Women’s Championship for over 340 days, defeating Mercedes Martinez for the gold at ROH Final Battle 2022.
