There has been several new updates on the statuses of several long-absent WWE stars, many of which have been off TV for the majority of 2023.
In a new report from Fightful Select, new information was given regarding three stars who have been gone for quite some time.
First of which is Dexter Lumis, who last competed on TV back on the May 29 edition of Main Event.
According to the report Lumis’ absence from TV has seen him also not be present at recent tapings, however, the reason for his absence is not due to an injury of any description; instead Lumis is simply awaiting creative plans.
Second on the list is Odyssey Jones, who despite recently returning to action on WWE’s Holiday Tour live events this month, has still not been seen on TV.
Jones’ last televised appearance came all the way back on the April 4 edition of NXT, with the 29-year-old being drafted to Raw shortly thereafter.
Despite this, Jones has yet to make a single appearance since, with the only update being his name being brought up to potentially join Bobby Lashley’s faction on SmackDown.
This has not come to pass yet however, with Fightful having no further update on when we can expect Jones on TV.
Saving the literal biggest for last, we have Omos, who was last seen on WWE TV competing at SummerSlam in the Slim Jim Battle Royal.
Before that however, his last proper match on TV came at Backlash 2023 in May where he lost to Seth Rollins.
According to Fightful’s sources within WWE, there is a belief that Omos can be used in an “attraction” role.
Omos is reportedly another who is simply awaiting creative plans for TV, although unlike Lumis, he has remained heavily active on WWE’s live events throughout the year despite not being on TV; last competing against Akira Tozawa in Moline, Illinois on December 16.
