A top WWE star has admitted that they’re interested in joining an existing faction on Friday Night SmackDown in the future.
When WWE began pairing between The Street Profits and former two-time WWE Champion Bobby Lashley, many fans had hopes of other stars who could potentially join forces with the group.
While stars such as Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams had been teased, perhaps the biggest hope was for the EST of WWE: Bianca Belair to join up with her husband Montez Ford in the group.
In a recent Instagram Q&A Belair was asked whether she would be interested in joining the faction, to which she answered:
“It would be dope”
Other highlights from the Q&A included Belair naming her dream WrestleMania opponents and the possibility of another match with Bayley at the same event (see below).
Speaking of Bayley, while it remains to be seen whether Belair will join up Lashley’s group, for now she’s got her hands full contending with the women’s division’s most dominant collective force: Damage CTRL.
With Charlotte Flair now out injured for much of 2024, it seems as if Belair may be the top potential challenger for IYO SKY’s WWE Women’s Championship in the near future.
That’s if SKY can successfully defend her title against Michin at tonight’s SmackDown: New Year’s Revolution show (January 5).
