A pair of WWE SmackDown stars have celebrated reaching a YouTube milestone by both getting new tattoos.
After reaching 15k subscribers on their YouTube channel, both Zelina Vega and Dakota Kai decided to commemorate the occasion with a pair of tattoos of some of their favorite Pokémon.
In a special video uploaded to both Instagram and Twitter, Vega documented their journey to receiving their tattoos, beginning with a 6am wake-up and finishing with them showing off their respective finished designs.
Firstly Damage CTRL’s Kai decided to go with a fan favorite from Pokémon’s first generation, that being the fire type Vulpix, while Vega also went with one of the original 151 designs as she chose the water type: Seel.

After already streaming on their respective Twitch channels, Vega and Kai announced that they would be starting up their own YouTube channel and podcast back in August.
The channel titled: ZELVX and CHARLIE GIRL has already built up a loyal following, covering topics such as gaming, anime, TV and occasionally wrestling.

While Vega had a standout year in terms of her in-ring career, with her Backlash 2023 match with Rhea Ripley a highlight, Kai has instead endured one of her most challenging, being out of action since May with a torn ACL.
Thankfully however, Kai has remained on TV for much of her in-ring absence alongside her fellow Damage CTRL members on SmackDown.
