Mercedes Mone, formerly Sasha Banks in WWE, has commented on the big announcement made on AEW Dynamite tonight.
AEW CEO Tony Khan appeared on tonight’s February 7 Dynamite to announce AEW Big Business taking place at TD Garden in Boston on Wednesday, March 13.
After the announcement, Mercedes, who is expected to debut at that show, wrote on Twitter:
“I remember when couldn’t pay the rent
“Now I own the whole building that I’m living in
“Sky’s the limit when you’re never giving in
“You get in, you ride it out
“And don’t look back again”
The sentiment may sound familiar because they are the lyrics to her former Sasha Banks ‘Sky’s the Limit’ theme song from WWE.
With plenty of clues that AEW Big Business will mark the debut of the former Mercedes Mone in All Elite Wrestling, the arrival of Mone hasn’t been specifically revealed by the company yet.
However, all reports remain clear that it is happening, Mercedes Mone is All Elite.
Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, Sting and Darby Allin won the AEW World Tag Team Championship – read more about the aftermath at this link.
