Popular AEW star and current ROH Women’s World Champion Athena has made a surprise appearance at an independent show.
As previously reported, AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy made a shocking appearance to defend his title in a 7-Way Match at RevPro High Stakes 2024 on February 17.
Also, AEW CEO Tony Khan and AEW World Tag Team Champion Darby Allin were spotted in the crowd at the event.
It looks like they aren’t the only talent from the promotion appearing on the indie scene this past weekend.
At the February 17 Wrestling Revolver show, ROH Women’s World Champion Athena made a surprise appearance to attack Vert Vixen.
This attack occurred following Vert Vixen defeating Athena’s husband Matthew Palmer twice in less than 10 minutes.
Athena is set to defend the ROH Women’s World Title against Nyla Rose in a two out of three falls Tables Match on the February 22 edition of ROH TV on Honor Club.
