QT Marshall has returned to AEW, though won’t be an in-ring talent and will be taking up his former vice president role behind the scenes.
As recently reported, Marshall was scheduled to be backstage at the February 24 episode of AEW Collision and has confirmed his presence by sharing a new promo shot.
The new promo shot shows Marshall very much in ring shape, as can be seen below, with a fan suggesting that he’s now “too cut for Meat Madness”.
In his reply to the message of support, Marshall revealed:
“I’m not wrestling at AEW. The fans didn’t like me out there so I’m going to wrestle everywhere else. I’m a man of the people.”
The Meat Madness Match will take place at AEW Revolution on March 3, with Lance Archer, Wardlow and Powerhouse Hobbs set to take part.
Per the previous report, Marshall left AEW on January 1, 2024, when he and the company didn’t agree to an extension on his deal, with Marshall reportedly wanting to focus on his in-ring career.
